A note on sweeteners
We use Reb M. If you haven’t heard of it: most sugar-free drinks are sweetened with stevia, and the common cheap grade (called Reb A) is what leaves that bitter aftertaste. Reb M comes from the same plant but tastes clean. It costs more, which is why most brands don’t use it. There are no artificial sweeteners in RAWSTONE.
On mineral forms
The form a mineral comes in changes how it dissolves and how it tastes. Magnesium as citrate, which dissolves fully in water, not the chalky oxide in cheaper tubs. Potassium as citrate, because the chloride form tastes like metal. Both dissolve fully in water.
How to use
Half a scoop is 500 mg sodium. A full scoop is 1000 mg. If you haven’t used a high-dose electrolyte before, start at half and build up. It takes a few days for some people to adapt. One serve a day is the maximum.
RAWSTONE is a formulated supplementary sports food. Not suitable for children under 15 years of age or pregnant women: should only be used under medical or dietetic supervision. Not a sole source of nutrition: use it as part of a nutritious diet, alongside an appropriate training or exercise program.
Mixing tip
Add the powder first, then water. A 10–15 second shake is enough, with no grit or residue at the bottom. Works in still or sparkling water. We prefer it cold.
Test certificate
Tested before it ships.
Certificate published here.
Our first batch will be tested by an accredited lab before it ships. The lab issues a test certificate (the industry calls it a Certificate of Analysis) and we’ll publish it here in full.
It covers screens for heavy metals and microbes. The lab name, accreditation number, batch reference and test date are all on there.
